“As an avid reader (43 books for far in 2025 with some 900+ pages and both fiction and nonfiction!) I must say I really enjoyed this first chapter and want more! You've done exactly what good authors want to do, in that I'm really wanting to know what happens to Sam. I'm impressed.”
- Kelly Dougan

Very engaging! I'm definitely hooked! You write very well, with lots of detailed sensory descriptions, and complex emotions, bringing the scenes and the feelings alive. It's a beautiful premise and I'm looking forward to seeing where it go...

Introduction
What if your emotional boundaries grew like plants?
Some overgrown.
Some wilted from neglect.
Some thorny. Some desperately reaching for sunlight.
In Agatha’s Garden, a slow, strange, and healing story unfolds—centered on Sam, a young man with AuDHD (ADHD and autism) who inherits a mysterious garden from an aunt who had a great impact on his life.
But this is no ordinary garden.
Here, the plants respond to Sam’s emotions.
His burnout. His overgiving. His avoidance. His shame.
As he begins to tend to the land, he begins to tend to himself.
This is a story for:
People who’ve been called “too much” and “too sensitive”
Neurodivergent folks learning to listen to their needs
Caregivers and helpers wondering who they are when they’re not saving everyone else
Anyone burned out from being “the strong one”
Each chapter arrives FREE monthly (ideally) in your inbox, like a quiet conversation with your favorite tree.
You can start from the beginning or jump in whenever the metaphor hits.
Along the way, I’ll share short reflections, emotional prompts, and a few laughs from the AuDHD trenches.
You don’t have to tend to everyone else’s garden anymore.
Come sit. The gate’s open.
What a great premise! 😁
I think what you are doing here, is amazing. I have to be in the right headspace to read this specific genre, but this message is sorely NEEDED.
I am usually reading biopics, poetry, educational articles (history, space, relationships, psychology, etc.), adult thriller/ fantasy/ horror content.
I have slowed down in the consumption of reading, because I am powering up my content database right now for business, but I will crank it back up again eventually.
Please keep up the great work Brian, so many people need your writing.
